                        Best Dog Breeds For Families
                        by Simon Harris

Theres nothing quite like the family dog. Its
almost a slice of Americana. In ever cheesy fifties image
of the Perfect American Family we see a nice little house
with a white picket fence, Mom and Dad, two children (usually
a boy and a girl), and a family pooch happily prancing
around the yard. As clichéd as that image may be,
the fact remains that people love dogs and some families
just dont feel right without a family dog.

When choosing a dog for a family, there are important
traits to keep in mind. Some breeds of dog are wonderful
for families while others simply dont have the proper
temperament to deal with family life. They may be too
rough with small children, to needy of their own space
to deal with the incessant coming and going of a large
family, or simply too naturally aggressive to respond
well to a family setting. Other breeds are just perfect
fits for family life. Here are some of the best dog breeds
                        for families. [ More

Easy Cat Litter Box Cleaning Techniques
                        by Nancy E. Wigal

Successful cat litter box habits stem from many different
factors. A small investment of time pays off big with
timely, periodic cat litter box cleaning. The best "Thank
You!" from your cat is when she deposits a gift in
                        her clean cat litter box.

Why should you empty out the old litter and scrub the
box? As your cat uses the box, she uses her claws to scratch
litter to cover her urine and feces. Cat urine gets into
these cracks and begins to smell so bad after awhile that
your cat may begin to avoid the litter box. Old cat litter
smells extremely bad, and as you scoop out cat deposits,
the amount of cat litter is less and less with each scoop.
If your cat feels she doesn't have enough litter to cover
her mess, she'll find another solution - usually outside
the cat litter box. [ More

Key Secrets to Remember in Dog Training
                        by Ray Coleiro

While training your dog please remember:

Do not punish the dog. Punishment is not a training
aid. It does little to foster willingness to learn and
achieve. Limit yourself to a firm NO and to
using your hands to block the dogs negative actions.
Refrain from hitting or physically abusing the dog. [

Out of all the pet animals, the cat is most expressive
about its needs. The feline loves to be pampered and cared
for. Dont you just love the pretty pussy pictures
they make? They can also become sulkily aggressive
at times. Understanding their feelings and needs is not
                        at all difficult.

Just like your body language, behavior, and words give
away your intentions and feelings, similarly, your pets
also communicate through their bodies, and noises they
make. As a pet owner, it is important for you to understand
the signs, scents, and body language of your pet. Other
than those, the visual information is also very important
for understanding what your pet wants to communicate.
